In 1968 Alonzo Curtis has opened his company, which supplied the metal processing industry with innovative cooling lubricant solutions. What began in Grand Rapids / USA, should be a success story on the American continent also. Already after a short time the first deliveries of Curtis Systems Inc. went abroad. In particular, the markets in Europe and Asia grew rapidly in importance. In order to better serve the European market, in 1973, Curtis Systems AG was founded. All activities of the medium-sized company were now controlled from the head office in Switzerland. 1985 followed with the acquisition by a German family, the next step: The establishment of Curtis Systems GmbH, located in Kriftel.During the restructuring took place in 2007 the company moved to Hochheim am Main.
Today the Curtis Systems GmbH is a medium-sized company with an international focus. Meanwhile, we look back on over 50 years of experience in developing and manufacturing premium coolants. We deliver high-quality products "Made in Germany" in over 30 countries at a competitive price. Our philosophy is based on flat hierarchies, independent action and personal development.
